OculusOculus (2013) – 4/10

So ok, the mirror houses all the dead people that it has killed over the centuries.  It’s power to deceive is unstoppable only limited by a physical perimeter and it needs plants and dogs for fuel.

Interesting movement back and forth through time for our heroes. This technique was not too jarring but near the end of the movie it was starting to annoy.

There was a big scratch in the DVD when I rented it and I was only able to see the first half hour.  The start of the film is creepy and interesting enough that I wanted to see more but. . . maybe should have left it at that.  Screenplay and Direction by Mike Flanagan.
